|
Caracas, Mar 27. ABN.- “Venezuelan oil income has improved significantly and substantially thanks to the policies carried out by the President of the Republic, Hugo Chávez Frías”, informed the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Cuba, Alí Rodríguez Araque.
During the program En Confianza, broadcast by the state-run television channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Rodríguez Araque pointed out that the Bolivarian Government “has designed a very clear and sharp strategy in oil matter, and the results are within sight”.
“Venezuelan oil income has improved significantly and substantially thanks to the policies carried out by President Chávez in oil matter, in contrast with the constant drop that Venezuelan oil tax income showed before”, during the fourth republic, Rodríguez held.
In this sense, he pointed out that the incomes that have obtained the Venezuelan state-owned oil company Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) for the country “are the result of a right policy in Venezuela and the results are within sight of all those who want to see them, after all, policies can not be measured by speeches, but results”.
Regarding ExxonMobil's case, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Cuba stressed that with the nationalization process at the Orinoco oil Belt, opening of investments, and transformation into mixed companies, “the only case that made some noise was Exxon's, all the rest of the companies negotiated in
peace, reached agreements, they are satisfied and still in Venezuela”, he said.
“It would be good to interview some of the representatives of these companies that are taking part as mixed companies at the Orinoco Oil Belt to know how do they feel”, he recommended.
Rodríguez Araque explained that, with the nationalization of the State's oil resources, “in Venezuela are not only investing companies that were settled in the country when the oil opening, but many other companies of many nationalities have come, in a strategy that is absolutely correct, which is the diversification of investments by one side, and a diversification of the markets on the other”.
In this regard, he stated that “the one who depends on single investor or a single market is subdued to the rules of that investor or that market”.
Rodríguez Araque also talked about the political progress of Venezuela with the creation of the Unified Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
“Politically, the fact that we have undertook the creation of a revolutionary party in Venezuela is a challenge of great proportions”.
“The fact that the country can count on a unification factor of nation's
wills about its biggest intersts is one of the most hopeful facts for our
people nowadays”, he said, regarding the national unity represented by
the PSUV.
Regarding the members and staff members that are part of the PSUV, he added
that “those who, today, assume responsibilities in this task, we have the
firm commitment to put it forward and bring it successfully to the
future”.
